October Ipsy Bag… Love It or Leave It?

fileAssetI think the October bag design might just be my favorite one yet! I’ve been doing Ipsy since July and I think this bag takes the cake (or cupcake since that fits my blog name)! It’s perfect for Halloween month – a blend of crimson and lace with a little bat charm for the zipper.
fileAsset-1Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in the shade Perversion: I’m not really a big eyeliner user, I prefer using an eyeshadow to act as eyeliner. I feel like eyeliners just don’t look right with my super light skin tone. However, I did use this eye liner a few times just to review it for all of you! The advertisements don’t lie, it really does last all day and it went on very smooth, which I loved. I would definitely purchase this if I was an eyeliner kinda girl. Love It!

Tarte Deluxe Lifted Sweat-Proof Mascara: Holy guacamole I can’t say enough good things about this mascara! I have already purchased a full-size version of this so I won’t have to worry about running out when my Ipsy one is empty. It lifts your lashes and makes them appear longer and thicker with just. one. coat. I’m not kidding! This is part of Tarte’s newer line and is made with Amazonian clay and Vitamin C, so it also helps condition and strengthen your lashes. Love It!

Marc Anthony Hydrating Coconut Oil & Shea Butter Oil Treatment: Something you should know about me is that I’ll never lie to you. I’m just here to tell you all about the greatest things. So, truth bomb time… I didn’t try this product so I don’t know whether to love it or leave it. Y’all know I have hair extensions, so putting oils in my hair that I don’t know much about isn’t something that I do. With the cost of these hair extensions, I don’t want to risk ruining them. The description of this product sounds great and I’m sure I’d love it. If you’ve tried it, let me know your thoughts!

Furless Black Beauty Blending Crease Brush: At first sight, I loved this brush. I mean, it has teal bristles… how could I not love it?! However, after using it a few times, I just couldn’t love it. It didn’t pick up near enough product, no matter how pigmented the eyeshadows are that I used. I found myself dipping back into my eyeshadow palette several times just to achieve my desired looks. Leave It!

fileAsset-5And lastly, Meech and Mia Loose Eyeshadow in Beige: This loose mineral eyeshadow is a beautiful warm, gold/nude shade. It is great for a subtle look, or you can build it up for a full glam look! I also noticed it worked as a highlighter, and I am all about the glow! I didn’t know much about this brand, but I’ll be trying more products from them. Love It!
