Happy Sunday! Psalms 139:14 (KJV) says this:
“I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.”
One of my goals for 2018 is to work on loving myself a little more. Like all women, I struggle with my confidence… I don’t always love how I look… I could lose some weight… my list goes on. However, as a mom to a daughter, I would never want my daughter to think or say negative things about herself – so why would I allow myself to do it? So this year, I’ve really been trying to work on self-love and staying positive.
This verse was in my devotional this morning, and it reminded me to stay on track with this goal I set for myself. If we always start our day with negative thoughts, or dread looking in the mirror… how does that set us up for the rest of our day? What are we teaching our children? I’m trying to be more conscious of these things. God made us perfect in his image, so LOVE the woman he made you!
